Stephen king 's novel gerald's game was once considered a completely unfilmable book. Stephen king does an amazing job here, primarily by making strong use of a couple key ingredients.

Crouse’s manifestation of tone to convey different voices, jesse’s panic, jesse’s fright, and even the room around our prone heroine grabs readers and forces. So that’s how i came to own gerald’s game. Most everything about this book is great;

I'm going with 3 stars but i. This book is a testament not. Partly this was because the premise sounded disturbingly like misery, my least favourite king novel, and partly it was because i was suffering extreme genophobia (fear of sex), at the time and the very premise gerald’s game is built on was one that i simply couldn’t deal with then.
